    Default Hello and good evening!

Hi everyone, to be honest I was given this website by a friend who deals in watches of this kind
So here I am, looking for help and advice etc, thats what forums are for, right?
Anyhoo's my ideal watch is a Daytona, stainless with grey face and red markings on the dials
I am looking for the best one I can get, but dont want to spend too much
I like lots of other watches too, submariner and the new tag le-mans watch looks the biz

Any help from you guys would be most welcome

    Cheers

    John

    Advice:

-Do lots of reading in the Rolex section. There are reviews about the best Daytonas.

-Dealers--use one of the trusted dealers here. Josh (Perfect Clones) and Sead (Super Mirrors) seem to get the best reviews by everyone.

-My advice--DON'T go cheap. You're already saving thousands of dollars. Isn't the point to get one that's convincing. I think you can get a good Daytona for between $200-$300, with Sapphire crystal and a clone ETA 7750 movement. If you get the $100 version, you'll be getting mineral glass, a cheap 21j movement, cheaper bracelet, etc. etc. Not worth it, IMO.

    Good luck, RSM

Yes, first, WELCOME! ... is it okay if I just call you 'dung' for short ?

... second, I 'second' what RSM is saying. do a lot of searching and reading in the Rollie section and pay special attention to the posts about problematic and inacurate movements. After reading you will likely want to trade off some accuracy for reliability ... or maybe not. Educate yourself so you know exactly what you are buying before you buy it .

Then buy one of the Daytonas sold by jpc8118.com or tt88time.com.

Try watching the sale and trade forums. Maybe, just maybe something you like will show up at the "right" price.

daytona probably not the best idea for your first and only rep
I don't know the watch well but believe the failure rate of the movement on these is very high

I think Sead (Super Mirrors) might be the way to go, since the secs @ 6 movement is prone to failure. And Sead is in CONUS and would make sure you were okay if something happened with the movement.
