    Default Repgeeks logo

Some days ago I realized that RepGeek doesn't have a marketable logo, so I did these. What do you think? Which is your favorite?

PS: I have saved the siluette vectorfiles if the admins are interested.

    ==============

What my thoughts on the first one was that I would like to make a brand with connections to rose gold, vintage time ice-cream and some unique warm bright colors. This logo would fit very well on clothes, tshirts and would fit in all kinds of themes in the social ladder. Being somewhat floating in its gender it would most certainly attract it's attention due to it's controversy (Hence why some guys like to wear pink shirts).

The second was to give that modern champagne look. To appeal to the ultimate luxury watch lower. The current theme is carbonfibre/sky. I also added a year under the brand since this is a current trend in the branding-industry, especially when it comes to sub-brands. Including a year in the logo gives it a sense of topicality.

The third was especially made to fit with all kinds of sub-brands, so I used the most common theme of all - Gold/white. If there is a special campaign or competition that runs here, it will easily fit in the logo right under the "g"-ornament. If your campaign for instance where to have the name "Sinaasappel" (which means orange , or, Chinese apple in dutch)

    Cool huh? :O

A "marketable" logo? Repgeek isn't looking for investors or to put out an IPO, is it?

Is the second logo (the one in blue with "2010" in text under "Repgeek") advertising repgeek as a potential site for the 2010 Olympic Games?

I would think this thread is a joke.

I think if you made the lines through the dollar sign the same length as each other it would be hot to trot.

    We already have a logo

"Let's skip the bad jokes and comments on my avatar and get this sold." - riskart
"Some of the jokes aren't bad and the mods of my avatar are funny, but I'd rather just sell the watch. Jay" - riskart

Guys, go easy. You see the OP's post count? 16. Eager noob. You were one too once.

As a graphic designer and retoucher by trade, I can safely say these were not thrown together in 10 minutes, as totally off the mark as they may be. So cut the OP some slack.

OP, you have a budding appetite for design. Congrats. First lesson; know your target audience. This is a predominantly English speaking male crowd, into predominantly large macho timepieces. Pastel colors and flowery script fonts, embellished with odd whimsical non sequiturs in foreign languages are pretty much the dead last things anyone would want to see in a logo here. Suggest you save these stylings for an anime fantasy forum.

    Execution: B-
    Targeted Effectiveness: F

    I like this one.
