Just introducing myself. OSU football fan

(though they lost to LSU

and Florida for the NCAA BCS football champioships

and new to this exciting hobby!

Any one able to offer advice on any dealers in the CONUS?

Nothing wrong with the "tried and true" overseas dealers but would like to find someone reputable in CONUS.

Appreciate any feedback.

We have some very good Conus dealers here.

Check out WBK, TWP, SoCal, Paso and Super Mirrors. They are all in our dealer's section.

Welcome VG. Illini fan her so dont feel to bad as we did not do taht well at all on the Rose Bowl game.

Out of the delaers above Paso is not stateside but all the others are.

uuuhhh...I don't think that would go over very well. MI_Cheergirl bleeds "Maize and Blue". If anything, she and VGHM would beat the crap out of one-another. OSU and "M" don't really see eye-to-eye on a lot of things.

LSU fan here but empathize with you Buckeyes having been a Saints fan before my first breathe out of the womb.

Be very quiet because my wife is not so empathetic and she might be looking over my shoulder. shhh. shhh.

I just overheard her giving a recipe for Buckeye cookies. She is ruthless I tell you. shhh.

To hell with that. Meet up at Lindy's and go all out. One of my good friends is an OSU graduate and we went to a game last year at the 'Shoe and had dinner the night before at Lindy's in German Village. Some good eats in there, fo' sho'.

Been to Lindy's a few times. Good stuff. Lots of top drawer places have opened in the last few years. Lindy's has stood the test of time. Of course Handkes, Refrectory, La Tavola, Hyde Park, M's, Alana's, Rigsby's, Trattoria Roma, Rosendale's all make the list as well.

Nope. The stadium isn't built yet. They are still clearing the area and finalizing plans for parking, traffic, etc. I used to work just above Gordon Biersch in the arena district. Had I stayed, I could have seen the ballpark from my office. Now, I'm in the burbs.

My former law partner was Jon Christensen, the food and wine critic for the Columbus Dispatch. You guys named a lot of great places, but there are a ton of "hole in the walls" that are great, too.

We need to get together for a Buckeye Lunch sometime.

I don't get out there at all other than to see a game every few years with my OSU Alum buddy. When I go out, I will call you both up for some face-to-face at the Varsity Club.

That was the firm. Where do you work downtown dorman? La Tavola is one of my fav's. It is only about 10 min from my house. It used to be about 2 min from my house in Powell.

Ahh! The VC. Many a 'good' time spent there.

I work at AEP's headquarters in IT. I will tell Rick you gave them the thumbs up. In the main dining room there is a large, old protrait on the wall. On the left is Rick's grandfather, on the right is my wifes grandmother.

All this food talk made me hungry... had to run down to the cafeteria!

For all of the things I would love to say, at least the "school up north" represented the Big 10 well in bowl games this year. Congrats on the big win cheergirl.
