    Default First Post!!! SMP question

Ive been looking for roaming this forum for a couple of weeks trying to pick my first rep and am about ready to pull the trigger but have a question first. Is it accurate on the blue smp gmt to have the numbers on the inside of the hatches? All of the dealer photos I have seen show this but i hadn't noticed this on any of the reviews. I attached a photo to show what im talking about.

Yep. That is correct. See the gen photo on Omega official site:

Just curious? Is the black gmt a more accurate rep? Ive seen far more reviews and pics of the black then the blue.

    Hmmmmmm

This pic of the Gen looks half & half to me ??
I think they should be lined up with the peaks like all other Omegas ?

The numbers on the bezel insert should line up on the "peaks" of the bezel. It is a common flaw for reps, but it is funny how they are even slightly off on Zed's picture from the Omega web site. This is usually an easy fix. You can heat the insert with a hair dryer to soften the glue, then move the insert left or right to line it up.

McLeod - I would be more concerned with the red GMT hand on the picture you show. Although the length of the hand is close to being correct, the arrowhead itself is much too large. Way out of proportion. Compare it to the picture of the genuine watch Zed included with his post and you will see what I mean.

    Ahh, the SMP from trusty
Quite a nice watch, however that particular bracelet uses screws instead of pins in case you were curious. The screws on mine are beginning to slide out on their own, where'd I put my loctite
