    Default hi all

    hi folks

stumbled across this place whilst trying to decide which of the million sites to order my first rep from, and im so glad i did.

i'm looking to take the plunge with a Tag Heuer Monaco LS, tryed a gen on in the trafford center, manchester and fell in love, sadly i doubt i will ever be able to afford the gen so it will have to be a rep not that thats gonna be a bad thing looking at some of the beauties on here

be gentle with a rep n00b

bra1n...get ready, it's an awesome time to get into reps. It might get overwhelming but stop by the Hublot & Panerai section...& the Omega, Rolex, AP, Cartier

Friendly bunch here, don't be afraid to ask questions

well my new watch arrived in only 9 days from placing the order, which isnt bad at all, sadly after getting as excited as a kid at christmas whilst opening the very well wrapped watch, i find that the minute hand isnt on properly and points in the direction you point the watch, i have sent a message to watch eden to inform them and ask for a plan of action so ill have to wait a little longer to wear it.

On a plus side the watch does look very very nice which only hightens the frustration of not being able to wear it yet

not sure pics would tell you much Rav, basically the hour hand works fine the seconds dial at 6 is fine and the chrono works fine, its just if you move or shake the watch the minute hand swings around, i would imagine it hasnt been pushed into place properly and as ive never opened a watch before i dont fancy doing it lol

I dont blame you. I am no watch expert, but if its a small fix, paying shipping back and forth might be a lil' pricey. But ya, i have not opened a caseback, so i would be pretty clueless. lol. Hope it works out, at the end.

I went to a local mall and asked a watch smith if he would feel comfortable working on a rep, and he said, no problem, so went to him and got mine fixed. Shouldn't be to hard.

    LOL. don't sweat that stuff.

I cant stand people who think all n' mighty that they own gens OR people who look down on people who buy reps.

Honestly, i had 3 gens; sold two due to hard times and one, so i could buy more reps

Buying reps has taught me so much. To be honest, i dont think i would ever buy a gen. Thats just me though.

Def, give that a shot. Esp, if its a small fix. Not worth the doh sending it back and forth and the worst part...WAITING... lol.
