Default My journey to replicas - oh and I'm from Sydney, Australia

    Hi all,

About a month ago, I was after a watch similar to a TW-Steel but a little 'better', and stumbled upon the U-Boat watches and their little brother, Welder.

After realising that I couldn't afford a U-Boat, I decided to go with a Welder, but decided to do some research on the net to see where I could buy it for a more reasonable price (as most Australian watch retailers certainly know how to price on the higher end).

This research led me to Josh's site, and ultimately to this forum (as I wanted to see if his links on his web-page were legit). I've never bought anything (and I mean anything) but original/genuine - which is evident in my watch collection up until a week ago - but was prepared to investigate if replicas were not just cheap $20 rip-offs.

So I joined this forum, and after reading so many positive comments on his watches, I decided to take the plunge and buy not 1 but 2 replica's (as I couldn't decide between the 2).

Anyway, the watches have now arrived, and I'm very impressed with the quality (and Josh's overall prompt communication), that I will now probably ... okay highly likely ... expand my collection to include an IWC, Graham and perhaps even a VC.

All I need now is a decent watch storage box - so I'm open to suggestions on this

    Cheers
    Steve

PS - the bug is catching ... I'm now about to buy a LV bag from JL

thanks guys for the suggestions for the watch box. After doing some research on the forum (and others) have decided to go with a guy from Germany - will post a honest review after I receive it.
