Hello to all....

Hi all, been browsing these forums for what seems like ages now, (realistically its been about a month) Spent many an hour trawling through old threads and reading many of the informative reviews and comments by posters here.

Finding RG saved me from pullling the trigger on a expensive mistake from the untrustworthy folk at exactreplicas.com

Though id take this moment to say hi, as a month has passed since that close call, and ive finally (after a fair bit of reserch on here) ordered my first 'proper' Rep, a Breitling Blackbird on SS from Josh. Hopefully the first of many (no doubt)

So hi everyone, cheers to all the folks who've taken the time to make these forums the helpful place it is, and see you on the boards.

Another brit, quite a few of us now.

I'm a N00b too, but I got caught up in the frenzy and I think that I have 8 reps ordered or with me, and I have only been looking for a few weeks. Its like being a child in a candy store.

Good luck keeping the addiction under control.... me ....I have no self control.

Hey Baldy!

I'm yet another noob, exactly the same as you, found 'The Geek' just before shooting myself squarely in the wallet with amatory watches.

Didn't last anywhere near a month mind - have just received a Rollie Sub bought second hand from a member in the rep trade section (pics coming soon hopefully), which I had no intention of buying, but well, ya know....

And I also have a brand spanky new Breitling on order from Angus, so I know exactly what these guys mean about the madness taking hold!

But The great thing about this community is the freindly open nature of the people here. I've been amazed at how welcoming everyone is to us new guys - and a huge amount of info is available on everything you could possibly need to know about reps particularly and watches in general.

But the best is the Sparta theme.....you seriously need to check out the dancing sparta guy/bear thing in Nutymer's signature. The funniest thing I've seen in a long time!

And i know just what you mean, soon as the Rep bug bites, thats it

Im already eye'ing up my next purchases, thinking maybe the Red faced Porsche Flat six, and a white faced Asian SOSF on leather

Il post some pics of my first purchase when it arrives.
