    Default Rep Daytona

Hi all! I'm new here and couldn't find a spot to post my question, so here it is. I have a new model Rep Daytona. The asian movement died on me and I found a Swiss ETA Valjoux 7753 movement to replace it.

My problem? The chrono posts on the 7753 don't line up with the Rep Daytona dial. It's about a millimeter off. The posts on the 7754 measure to be 7.69 mm, and the Rep dial measures 6.77 mm (center of dial to center of chrono hole at 3 o'clock). Does anyone have a suggestion or know of a solution? Do I need to get a different movement? Thanks!

I think they only will accept 7750 movement. There are new 29j models that are hopefully a bit more reliable. All in all the 7750 sec @6 is not the most reliable movement.

    Doesn't the 7750 Have the smaller dials at 6, 9 & 11? Cause the 7753 has them at 3, 6 & 9.
