Hello from a finnish guy living in the UK!

Hello all RepGeek members,

I've been enjoying the board for a couple of weeks now and I am afraid I've already been bitten by the bug.

I've been more into gen watches before (got a Speedy, Carrera and a vintage Rado) but I have just bought my first rep, which is a Fiddy from Pugwash. (Hope I made a decent choice for a good starter.)

Already looking at more watches and trying to hold myself back from ordering. I'm amazed by the quality of reps available and collecting them seems like a great hobby!

Heh, yea, especially when my biggest watch has been the Carrera at about 41mm and even it feels big compared to the Speedy.

(I've spent a fair amount of time in Finland over the years - I remember millions of trees, millions of lakes and unbelievably expensive wine).

I too am very much....well to date....a gen collector, now with around 40 in the collection, from Breitlings to Botta's and Atomics to vibralarms....but now looking at the amzing world of rep!

Mitton, I've definitely gotten to "appreciate" all of the suggestions you made. But no, I'm in the UK to finish my degree and probably moving back to amongst the trees and lakes after that. You're definitely right about the wine though!

Enjoy your stay, you are very welcome. I've always really like the Finns in my business life, what you see is what you get (even with the Swedish Finns - you will know what I mean)
