I'm thinking Breitling, maybe a navmeter, but there is so much choice I'm a bit like a kid in a sweet shop at the moment.

I've got the Breitling on order now, but Panerai are on the short list for the next one. I hadn't really looked into them until you mentioned it Epidural but they are good looking watches - I can see this may be an expensive hobby!

Well The Breitling rep arrived yesterday, very happy with it (only a cheap one to start with as I'm new to all this). The whole process was painless after reading all the great advice on this forum, especially the beginners guides - thanks guys.
