GTD, if you ever participate in Flashchat you'll think you're on a bike forum when Key, Flav, Reg, Luma and I get going.

Freaking trick, my friend. Pretty bike. Love Yams. You and Key will have a lot to talk about.

I'm running a Gix Fid with

    Ohlins front springs, Lindmann Engineering
    Penske rear
    Akro Evolution full system
    PCIII
    Intrinsic triple
    GPR damper
    Carbon bits
    Steel braided lines
    Woodcraft covers
    F-Sliders & SA spools
PPowers (2CTs next batch on their way...)

Next upgrades: shorty levers, Wave rotors, new mapping, new gearing. Will try to post pics sometime...

Will trade for a new 675

The 916/996/998 (same silhouette as my 748) is a better-looking bike than the 999 yet just as fun to ride. The 748 handles even better.

You may notice mine is a little front-biased. Loads of weight over the front wheel (with carbon mudguard for low unsprung front weight) for razor-sharp high-cornerspeed handling. It's hard work under heavy braking because of this, but damn, does it handle.

You guys with your big fours will chew me up on the straights, but I'll own you on the corners.

True True, the R6's are great on straights, first acceleration (0-60) and I've proven it lol.... But yes, you're right the 748 handles much better because of the design intent. By the way, I've always loved italian engineering and the creativity of Ducati.

The dry clutch makes more rattles on this one.

Great bike Pug-always liked that design better than the new one. You are right-that bike handles like its on rails-one of the guys I used to ride with had one.

Hey Key-post up a pic of your bike-our year R1s IMO-the sexiest out of all of the R1s!

Again-THANKS for the kind words guys!!

and yes-we should have a small motorcycle forum here
