Hello from Chicago

So. Last week I got sufficiently annoyed at my yet again pin-sheared gen Tag Kirium band (probably unfair, given that it has only sheared 5-6 pins after having been on my wrist daily for 12 years) that I decided to buy a new watch. Then I realized I like nice watches, but my resident salary was not going to cover a nice watch right now. Headed over to google, asked it about fake watches, found timeshops.net, saw the RWI / RWG icon, found a ton of cross posts from repgeek and here I am.

The amount of time I have spent just wandering the forums is crazy. I now realize I've started a new hobby that is heavy on details, a mashup of hacking, beauty and function. I expect you'll see me around here fairly often. Also, your sales forum is fairly amazing. Thanks for having me.

Welcome to the forum! As a resident I'm supprised that you have ANY time to surf the web, LOL. This is a crazy hobby. It's really amazing how close some of these reps (NOT FAKES by the way) come to the genuine watch. Be careful though, this hobby can be more addictive than drugs. Many of us have to have our monthly fixes or we go into withdrawal!

Looks like the hawks may get a season back after all (at least, we'll know one way or the other in 9 days). I'd be very happy to meet up at west end during a hawks game sometime...
