Hey Everyone,

Anyone on here from Calgary and that can do repairs to a submariner? I could ship back to China to Watchinternational but don't want to wait that long.

Thank you. I tried Kong watches but they wanted 125 to fix. They say its a spring....Watch is only worth 200 and change....

Have you been there lately? Are you in Calgary as well?

Yes I am...I'm a regular there...the address is correct. Just ensure that you mention it is a rep. But in most cases, if it has a 21 jewel movement in it, you may want to consider just buying a new movement and swap it out. I think those movements are about $30-$40?

Awesome thank you!! Don't want to have to ship it back...If its movement needs to be replaced can they do that? I don't have the tools to do it.

They don't do it anymore because there are no parts available. Back to drawing board.

Did you drop it off? Normally the woman there doesn't really know much. I normally drop it off and they call me and let me know price and if they can do it.

So repair has been done. He charged me 100. Movement fixed and working now and clasp fixed and pins on bracelet loose...did I pay too much?

I think its a fair price. first of all, you dont need to send back to China and 'wait' for who knows how long. We now know we can take it to City Time for rep repairs. Dos he warranty his repairs?

Another Calgarian here, just getting into this hobby and I'm glad to learn from this thread that there is a rep-friendly repair shop here. Thanks for the tip chiman and colemac!
