This place is so cool!

I've always had a taste for expensive watches and found it difficult to choose an affordable watch that I was actually willing to wear, so I've mostly went without... Until now! I never thought rep's could look as good as many of the examples I've found here since I've joined. I'm definitely hooked.

I think I'll choose a Carrera to test the waters a bit but I'd love to own an AP Royal Oak in the near future. I've learned more than I could have ever imagined over the last few days and even though I've never been a patient man when it comes to buying toys, the #1 point I've taken away from this forum is that patience is a must (!) so I'll be bringing plenty of it to the table.

Welcome to the forum Harry. You definitely came to the right place to learn about reps. In fact, many of the members here are MUCH better informed on Gen watches than the average gen owner. You have to know what the real thing is like to be able to judge a replica.

Be VERY VERY careful though. Collecting reps an be unbelievably addicting. I started out about 3 years ago with my first, and now I'm up to almost 60 reps.

By the way, what size Shockwave do you have?
