Stickies

Refugee from RWI so I do not want to be too critical while visiting here but what is with all the stickies??? They take up over half the page sometimes. I could understand if they were just on the first page but they appear on every page. Is it possible just to show them on the first page for each forum or does the hosting software not allow that?
