Watcheden Rolex Datejust
I recently posted the following uncomplimentary comment about my new watch stopping 3 hours after I remove it(see below). I tried hand winding it, as suggested by member 'Latrocinor' instead of merely motion winding it and by golly it ran for 20 hours after I took it off. Apologies to Watcheden for the unfair bad review, and thanks to member 'Latrocinor' and others who replied. The watch is very pretty and seems well worth the price. ------- {MY ORIGINAL COMMENT} : I recently ordered a blue faced Dateadjust from Watcheden. It took about a month to receive it, but I didn't mind the wait because I expected it. After ordering 'Johnson' emailed and said it was not available in blue, just black, I said OK send me the black one. Finally received it, it had been opened by customs but it was well wrapped in bubble wrap and in good condition. It is a pretty watch with a heavy nice looking bracelet and hologram etc. So far so good... PROBLEM: It works when I am wearing it ,but the watch stops 3 hours after I remove it. It won't stay wound. I guess it is OK to wear to show off, as it runs OK while being worn, but I sure can't depend on it as an actual timepiece. Wrote to Watcheden / 'Johnson' a week ago , haven't heard back. I know $108 is not a huge amount of money, but I could buy a $12 watch at Walmart and get several years of use from it. For $108 the Damn watch should at least work !! VERY DISSAPOINTED IN WATCHEDEN. BEWARE
