bout to get myself an AP Roo Asian 2824 clone for first time.

Just received it in mail today so waiting to check it out after work.

Any special instructions needed to set the time..ive always been a quartz user...

Hi mate. Welcome aboard. Where in OZ are you from? I'm north of Sydney.
I usually wind it 40 times, set the time and let it run. Enjoy your new watch. And if you stick around here you should start looking to get some overtime at work.
