    Default Just getting started

Hi all, I have been buying Seikos & Citizens for a while. My Brother in law picked up a nice Speedy rep about a year ago that looks pretty good. I have had the hots for a gen Sea Master for a long time, but now I'm thinking a rep is a whole lot less cash so I decided to check out the reps.

Welcome to RG! There's a lot of Seiko love on the forum. I have 2 myself, an SRP309, Orange Monster and a SNZH57J modded to a FFF. Plez post pics when you can.

IMO, getting a rep before a gen is a good idea. You get to see how much you love it before spending a great sum on the gen. There are some good repped Omega SM and some not so good. Read the reviews for both the SM and TDs

    +1
I wanted to get a gen 16610, after I joined, I ended up getting a TC V6 16610.. Maybe as a pre-gen phase.. Just read whatever you can so you have a good idea before buying your rep..
I'm also a seiko fan, have 2 divers from 70-80 and one 83' chronograph..
    Enjoy your time here!!
