A short history... it all started with those el-cheapo Rolex units being sold on Canal St in New York more than 30 years ago.
Boy they were bad.
Every so often I would pick something up and just wear it occasionally. Late last year, for some reason (maybe a lightning hit, or some really bad food) I started looking for interesting reps on the web.
My wife bought me a Milgauss from Perfectwatches.cn and I was hooked.
Neeless to say, this "hobby" quickly became a real focus. I have to admit that I am not a "serious" collector... if it looks good (even if not perfectly accurate), and it keeps good time, and it does not scream "FAKE", then it is of interest to me.
I jumped into the Rolex mix, then discovered what a really good watch looked like - The Ulysse Nardin Maritme Manufacture with rubber strap. Then I was totally hooked, and jumped into the Omegas, which are now my focus.
So after just a bit over a year, I am in danger of being cast into the river, along with the 2 8-watch winders with 20 storage spots additional, all the watches and extra parts that have accumlated (the parts are compliments of the truly bad junk units that I managed to buy).

So here we are... I love this site and am learning a lot.
