    Default Noob from Sweden

    Hello all!

    Greetings from Sweden.

My first encounter with a replica was around 2010 when i ordered a Omega speedmaster moonwatch from a Chinese dealer on the internet.

I did not pay much attention at the time about doing research about the dealer or the watch but i totally fell in love with that watch and used it for a few years until someone stole it from me.

I have bought a few watches during the years but no replicas.
I've had a few no name watches and lately a seiko solar watch that just stopped working (probably battery needs to be replaced).

I have never really gotten over the loss of my replica and i have just started too look in to this world and i feel a bit lost i must say.

My first though is why spend 400USD on a random no name or semi known brand if a can get a very nice looking replica that hopefully works as good for the same money.

It is all a lot to take in and of course i could just go to random trusted deal and place an order but i dont think that is the best idea.

I have read a lot of threads but i have some questions that i hope you guys can help me with.

I have found 2 models i realy like and i want some input.
    OMG0524D - Speedmaster Chronograph SS/SS VBlk JHF A7750 Mod 9300 [OMG0524D] - $418.00 : Trusty Time Online Store, Your Trusty Watch Shop
    OMG0524C - Speedmaster Chronograph SS/SS Wht JHF A7750 Mod 9300 [OMG0524C] - $418.00 : Trusty Time Online Store, Your Trusty Watch Shop

I have read a lot about the movement not being clean or well oiled up so will i need to service the watch even before i even use it?
Can i expect the Asia 7750 Valjoux Automatic Movement to work properly?
Is service anything that is possible to do your self?
I understand that its probably not an option for many people to service them self but mostly when i do something i get unhealthy committed and spend way too much time around the project i take on.

I will probably never use the chronograph.

Any help would be extremely appreciated.

    Best regards

A7750 works well by and large, plenty of resources on it if you search the forums. In regards to servicing yourself, there are tutorials you can find online, and start with a cheap 2nd hand watch you can buy from the bay...

Hello @Denon , welcome to RepGeek. It would be better to post those questions in the general watch discussion section than the Introductions section to get more answers. Enjoy your stay here!
