    Default Most unrealistic noob ever

Hi to anyone reading these introduction posts. A total noobie in the UK, my unrealistic plan is to only collect replicas in the $120 range, amassing a wonderful collection of the best reps available without spending serious money. Wish me luck !!!!

Up your budget slightly and be on the lookout for Nembo's sales. If you manage to snag some of those you'll be sitting pretty.

Welcome, but I think you will regret it later on. I have a friend who blindingly bought a lot of "AA" and "AAA" reps from a closed Facebook group of which I had warned him to do his research BEFORE buying anything. He now have watches he can't get rid (well he's asking me to help him) as they have too many flaws from anyone who had done some basic research on a forum like this will stomach.

My advise is to double your budget and buy some used reps on the forum here - that's if money is an issue. If not just buy from any of the trusted dealers here.

I do like his current 116655, but for a 2813 it's looking a tad expensive to my mind - but I am a noobie, and so far assume that one of those will die within 6 months ?

Where did you get the impression that they would die in 6 months. Like others have stated, stick around and do some reading/research here.

I think I just saw how cheap the movements were to buy, and made the assumption - but I shall do as you've suggested right now

    Delicately put Bmw760.
He should halve his potential quantity buys and double his budget and spend the same money on M2M or Nembo sales.
I bet after the first one or two, the OP will be broadening his horizons.

Or never apply your gen expectations to items less than 5% of the gen price, or to put it another way, only expect it to be 5% in terms of quality and you'll be happy beyond belief.

Years ago you could get some decent, not great but decent, reps in that price range. Myself i got a Calatrava for similar money, it was the only rep of this particular model.
I still remember the Sea-Dweller that was (once) offered by the Cartel for $128 - now that was a steal. It compared to gen pretty well, actually.
All this being said, that was then and this is now. Honestly i have no clue anymore on how does it work in that price range and neither does most of the forum i imagine, so you’re on a lone journey, OP.

Good luck buddy, you’ll get decent looking reps but can’t guarantee they’ll work!
