New to reps ..old to watches.

Just a quick note to say hello, Ive been a collector of watches for thirty years plus!!, had many expensive watches but was always afriad to wear them..so stumbled across DHGate and then Trusty Time an dhave entered the world of the rep..and so far I am delighted. Hoping to pick up some useful info and tips on this forum, especially regarding movements and such like, as the only issue I have had so far is the variable accuracy of the DG2813, even though the ones I have are actually DG2813 and are not too bad. So I look forward to learning and sharing with the forum...

welcome aboard "old" Fran...

the dg2813's nowadays are pretty decent, best is to go for the A2824/A2836 and A7750 movements as these are the best quality, easy to service and parts widely available....The Miyota's are a good second choice, be prepared for noisy rotors..
