    Default Hello from Germany

    Hi all together,
    my Name is Stephan.
My Story is long...i like only the old RLX and Tudor Subs. 5513, 5512, 1680, 7928, 9401, 9411, 79090 are my favorites.
Some years ago i want to buy a old 5513. I was afraid about the prices. And more about the fact the no one could give assurance that the watch contents only original part. So i decided to build my own watches. In those case i know what is going on in the watch.
And now, 5 years later 14 model were bulit.
    Here are some impressions.

    Thanks.
    Two have gen movements (1570/1560).
All other have gen ETA 2824/2873/2846 movements.
All have gen tubus an gen crown..
The 1016 Explorers are built full of aftermarket parts.
All watches have Vietnams cases with correct serial.
At the moment i'm thinking about selling the 1016 Explorers to
fund a next gen 1560 movement.
    best regards
    Stephan

Do you do the mods yourself or have somebody else do them.

Good for you that you do your own mods.

Looks as if you have an impressive sub collection.

How did you find out about RepGeek?

    Hello Stephan,
    welcome to RG.
I admire your craft work and your beautiful collection.
Since I want to tackle modding, I wanted to start with a 5513, which 5513 can you recommend for modding. I fluctuate between JKf and BP. Movement 2836?
    VG
I translated with G..gle because my english is not so good.

    Hi,
    and sorry for the delay.
I startet a few years ago with a 5513 with A2824. I changed the movement to ETA2783 (lowbeat similar to the gen).
All the watches on the pic are with vietnam cases (they are ready for gen movements).
The cases have correct engravings an serial between 1964-1977.
Two watches now have gen movements (1560/1570).
Most of the dails were lumed by myself. One is an original.
If you need some help feel to contact me.
    best regards
    Stephan
