You have plenty of reading ahead of you! Ryan at InTime is my go to TD. Li at JTime gets lots of positive reviews, especially on his communication which as a noob would help alleviate any fears or worried you have about this hobby. We were all noobs once.

One thing to be aware of is the Chinese New Year (CNY) and the Chinese take their vacation period very seriously. Ryan has a note on his "News" section about CNY.

Finally patience; patience in responses, patience in QC pics, patience in waiting for the dealer to get the watch from the factory, patience in shipping.

When concerned about treatment contact a mod before opening a disparaging or boohoohoo thread.

You should definitely check out this thread. It’s a nice comparison between the ZZF V1 & V2 beside the Gen. I really like the ZZF V2.
