So... bit about me. Yup, from NL (proficient in English as well as German, Grüß euch!). Had gotten my first Seiko for my 18th birthday from my parents. Many many years later getting more and more into watches. Y'all know how it goes.

Currently? After a recent phase of a bunch of higher-end Casios (ProTrek, G-STEEL), the Casioak (as the GA-2100 is now known as) and the likes of Jon Olsson and Mr JWW on YouTube (carscene/posh lifestyle characters) got me interested in high-end watches again.

On its way now is a Black Bay Fifty Eight reppy. Might as well try a quality rep before even thinking about saving up a couple bucks to get the real thing, eh? Keeping it neat and the rep for daily driving. If I like the rep experience good enough in the first place that is.

RWI users had some good pointers a few months back where to look in Bangkok, but the site kinda looks corrupted now and I know everyone from the repscene is everywhere and RG is well-known, so I figured to check y'all here out.

Read that people like to bring their watches in for a service right away so they can enjoy it hassle free and for a long time. Might actually be up for that myself... once I manage to get some kind of workshop/course done. Might be able then to put some Gen parts in schtuff too.

Regarding watches I'm currently looking for a nice dark brown leather strap to compliment the steel bracelet and my Chevron strap. Also trying to find other watches that I might like and I don't like a whole lot at all, so bit of a man on a mission if you will!

Well, great to find another forum that's alive and up and running well! Can't wait to have a look around and be inspired by y'all or learn something new. Cheers!
