Smile Hi from the depths of East Yorkshire

    HI everyone
I am so happy to have found some like-minded people in this forum. I have been an avid collector of watches over the last 15 years or so and have amassed quite a few replica watches, from the £10 ones bought on a spanish beach to a reallly nice planet ocean rep which is in for servicing at the moment. I also have a £30 submariner which I have had for 17 years and still goes (although automatic is probably a bit of a misnomer now) but is not really worth getting serviced and a quantum of solace PO I bought in Turkey in 2008 for 100 euros and could probably do with a service. As well as this I have a number of "fashion" watches from the likes of fossil/accurist/guess/citizen, a wooden watch which I bought from the maker is South Africa and a very nice Bulova Precisionist I acquired when a local jewellers had a closing-down sale.

My only "proper" watch is a Longines Hydro conquest Automatic which I picked up on ebay and is a great timekeeper.

I have recently discovered Kickstarter and have four Microbrand watches on order, a Phantom Caleuche, Hamtun Kraken III and two Gin Clear divers from a new company called Second TIme in Australia - looking forward to receiving them!

Reading posts on a number of watch fora (forums?) I would like to pick up a couple of really good reps and have realised that the rep world is a bit of a minefield! I get the impression that Noob and VSF are two of the best factories - Would be interested to know from fellow members what you think the best Planet Ocean reps are out there (I just love the look of them) and another watch I really like is the Rolex Milgauss with the green crystal.

look forward to hearing from you
    Mark

Welcome to RG Mark, sounds as if you have quite a collection already.
