Rep and VIP trade posts

I've seen this a few times now and I am wondering..

The VIP trade area is supposed to be for VIP's only. (Better deals, VIP only trades etc)

Now why do I see a lot of posts of the identical item (at the same time) for the same price?

If your not going to give the VIP's a better deal, then just post the item in the Rep trade area.. OR, post it in the VIP section first and after a while with no luck THEN post in the other section..

Where does it say VIP's will get a better deal? Some just prefer to offer it to VIP's first etc.

Sometimes I'll offer something in the VIP Trade Area first, to give good members first dibs... then, after a day or so, I'll list it in the Regular Trade Area if it hasn't sold... Same price.

I'm not sure why people post in both sections at the exact same time--seems redundant.

I sell in VIP first, before I offer it to everyone else...thats my way of giving the VIP's something to be VIP about...

I think sometimes people double list their stuff in hopes of reaching more people and selling it quicker.

But I agree, just do it once unless there is a difference in the sale, price, extra strap, etc.

Most of us VIP's check both anyways.

Example, right now I am at my limit in the rep trade so I post in the VIP section. Once my time limit opens in the rep section I will post whatever did not sell in the VIP to the rep trade section, thereby having 2 posts.
