    Default I can see I'm a rarity here...

    I’ve been lurking here for a few days. I just received a banner suggesting I post something here.

    After reading the FAQs I can see I’m a rarity here… I’m looking for the best Sub. I’m really liking the DSSD v5. I’m still trying to figure out what the various offerings are from the various retailers. Of course, I’d like a Panerai, Omega, IWC…. I’m super stoked to find this site. I’m embarrassed to admit I was strongly considering buying a “Swiss made” Sub rep for like $7xx (yes, I've read the top 10 lies). Good Lord.

    I’ve spent 4-6 hours here already, and, of course, that’s just scratching the surface.

    Thanks, everyone, for all your posts. I’ve already learned a ton.

    Also, on a tangent someone here has “The Nightfly” as an avatar. I’m a huge ‘Dan and Fagen fan.

    I just picked up a used Invicta 4469 (Sub homage, Swiss made, sapphire, Stellita SW 200, decent band) a few days before I found this site. I’m debating about keeping it now.

    I’m working on a Horn Dog barley wine right now. So, I’ll have to wrap things up.

    if you were considering spending $700+ on a all singing all dancing sub such as the ones bluefakes.com sells... then I recommend you buy something that is 1000% better a BK Sub http://repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=88290

    or if you want the DSSD, go with a eurotimez.com v5 then send to Vac for a relume and to seal the HEV.

    Use the search function and any and all questions you have will be answered there!

    enjoy the learning curve, its steep, but fun, and no one here shouts... much!

    One of the top runners is the eurotimez.com V5. I was considering reluming myself... I'm thrifty.

    You're going to love this place...I came looking for the best sub and I haven't bought one yet. Instead I ended up with a slew of other watches including a Yachmaster which is way more awesome IMO. Also, checkout Panerai...they are so wicked retarded

    Welcome..and do some reading before buying a DSSD V5...it really has all sorts of problems as many posts talk about here.

    About the best one out now is Josh's DSSD...but get the Swiss movement, not the clone 3135.

    Anyway, there is a lot just to learn about that one particulary rep...so get to it.
