you see me saying anything about titles? Or do you have any objections to what I wrote, in particular?

I'm with Pug on this one, as an avid Rugby fan who records a lot of games I cant watch live for whatever reason. Once am told the result, I rarely watch the game, its never the same if you know the end bit.

Just a little common sense in the title, perhaps a hint that theres a result in the thread is all thats needed. Simple respect for other people who may not know the result at that time.

This is a slippery slope IMO. Just how far do you go with it? A day? A week? Had we better not mention who won the 1984 world series just in case a forum member hasn't watched the tape yet?

That's an easy one to answer. If week 8 of your sport has happened, it's safe to assume anyone that's not seen week 7 yet isn't going to care if you're discussing it.

lol, im just messing around. I dont think Ive ever went out of my way to TIVO a sports game. i either watch it live or catch the highlights on SportsCenter but I dont mind the spoiler in the title thing... whatever, didnt think this would ever be an issue on a WATCH FORUM.

I have to agree, though it is getting very, very hard to avoid hearing results. On Sunday I was looking forward to the Japanese F1 Grand Prix which was to be shown at 5pm on TV (I believe it is also on very early morning) only to go to pay for petrol (gas) and hear on the cashier's radio that Hamilton and Massa had collided, etc, etc. Spoiled my day. Admins can you please ensure that petrol station cashiers do not listen to the radio? Oh wait a minute...............

my humble suggestion is to use a credit card and pay @ the pump from next time on
