This is tangential but I just finished, this Saturday actually, M:The Man Who Would Become Caravaggio and just loved it. He's absolutely one of my favorite Baroque artists. I know it's tacky to have a copy of a master painting on your walls but if I could have perfect, 1:1 version of The Taking of Christ, I could die happy. But I suspect the gen is probably going to be the one to have. LOL

The FIRST thing I did when I got to Dublin was go to the National Gallery to see this painting. Actually, the first thing I did was have a pint of Guinness. The only one I had while I was there because the calories are outrageous.
