Sadly, i haven't been buying any watches lately. My toy budget is going for bloody expensive vintage furniture (a lot of which is coming from France

) as i've decided to finally furnish remaining rooms in this damn house, and i'm not seeing the end of this expensive journey.
And to make things even worse for my watch collecting hobby, i'll have to soon replace my ancient Merc W220 with either a W221 or maybe, if i'll make some extra paper, a W222... and the latter aren't cheap. It's a necessary upgrade, as my other two cars aren't daily drivers.
BTW, that's a rare Patek 3853 next to one of my vintage Rollies... you can see the rolled link Oyster bracelet.
Awesome pieces mate ! so your also collecting Mercedes ! I am a big fan of the brand too
I am actually driving a w203, my father owns a w140 600SEL

Thanks buddy! I really really like the Mercedes brand, i'd call it the Rolex of automobiles. Beautiful, balanced design, showy but still quite classy.
As far as Patek Philippe goes, people call Patek the Rolls-Royce of timepieces, and i gotta agree, although Patek is understated unlike the Rolls...
W203 is pretty nice, too. I kinda prefer its design to the W204. I must admit that IMO best looking Mercs were made between 2000 and 2006... modern ones are a little bit too fancy looking. Interior of the, say, W222 looks like a bloody spaceship!

Great car, no doubt. I had a US-market C126 500SEC, but sold it in 2012... It was in pretty bad condition though. It needed a lot of new parts.
Yes I had

And Why not? Nothing is easier then selling a catch and release and only losing $30 or so. OR watchbox clear outs
