A great mistake at that considering how much buzz it has caused.

Now that I have given it the full time I should have given it before (I thought a WM9 was just the hollowed out wrapped bracelet and what not, yes I know that is ignorant) I have come to realize it isn't worth nearly as much.

If anything I would like to sell the other pieces I have even if I have to keep the 16613.
I will gladly NOT sell it if it helps soothe everyone, or at this point I will drop the price more if needed (even though that makes no sense to me because that's even more lost money)

I would be glad to get people who can vouch for my paying a total of $1k+ for this watch modded to the current condition if needed.

Who should vouch for that? QueTip gave you a more than kind estimate of the worth of yours.
It's probably even lower now since it has came out it's a noob and not a MBW.

    $500 - Watch
    $150 - Insert
    $100 - Crystal

Those are really HIGH estimates. You can get tritium inserts as yours and non LEC as also yours for a LOT less than that price. (~$50 for each)

That puts it at $100 ontop of the $500 invested in the base watch. Now add watchsmith work to install a gen insert and crystal. Case doesn't seem to be gen spec since it's a noob but even that is not that much of work that it can be thrown up to what I have estimated the watch in the first place if it was MBW.

My pieces can all be proven in terms of where they were purchased, for how much, etc.

I am more than happy to provide any information needed to sell the pieces at a lower value if need be.

Again, this is one trip up out of 30+ deals regarding other watches.

I have the original transactions if proof is needed for the pricing.

Lol, you don't need to show that. There is not more to be paid for those parts than what I've listed them as. That is a really high estimate as I've already said.

Yea but you intentionally didn't list your original transaction on the WM9 16613 because IT WASNT A WM9, you NEVER BOUGHT IT THINKING IT WAS A WM9, you tried to sell it to me AS A WM9 for TWELVE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS!!!! And I almost bought it!! Thanks to some friends that I pm'd pics of it telling me it was not, I would have bought it.

Your evaluations are extremely close. Now add the work and shipping back and forth for all of the work.
Installs aren't free when you send them off to be installed, etc.

[QUOTE=dilodoli;2769339]Alright, i assume the "someone" that you talking with can look into the future and knew you will sell the $500 watch with 1k price tag. awesome..

He was from RWi in other words yes my generalization was bull**** and yes what I said makes me an asshat. I accept that, but why would you judge a full reputation of a person based on a conversation? That sounds silly to me, especially with my history being flawless and the rest of the pieces in the thread where I tried to sell the 16613 went just fine AT MUCH LOWER than my asking prices which were again less than I paid overall.

It's not a $500 watch, it was before and then it was modded.

I did think it was because I saw WM9 in the title and every WM9 I saw on the forums seemed to make a mention of the links being wrapped, etc.

My misunderstanding did cause this mess and I wish I would have looked into it a hell of a lot more, but it's too late.

As you should know, market decides value. There is a high market for preceramic inserts and with a little reading and digging you would've found that you're clearly overpaying for a used and abused insert.
NOS Luminova inserts go for $200 upwards so if you used your brain you could've seen that you clearly overpaid on that insert with a $150 price tag.

Same rules apply for a nonLEC crystal which also goes for way less than $100.

Work and shipping isn't more than $150 if you ask for my estimate again.

All in calced and assumed you did pay those prices you had $900 in. Minus the broken to be fixed parts throws you back at the value I already told you on RWI after the clarification about it not being WM9.

That is not the main aspect of the discussion though.
This is that you KNEW it was not a WM9 but still listed it as one and knowingly charged more than it's worth. -> that is misinterpreting, this is to be avoided on any forum you register. Profiteering like that are also not happily seen on any forum. Just a reminder

This is were the apple is getting sour not the pricing you adjusted to after I told you what it's worth ~.

    - please don't tell me anything about Bluesy builds, I've done it all.. Been there done that.

It isn't that I expressively knew it wasn't a WM9, but I said it was wrongly. I understand it isn't now and that I really ****ed up.

Yes, I am sorry. It was ****ed up and yes it might be seen as profiteering, I understand. At this point I would be happy to get $500 even though I know that puts me at a 50% loss.
If anything that loss could be representative of my trying to right my wrong.

If I am not given that chance, I am hoping to figure out a way to accept the issue. I did expect this all and hoped I could use my second chance to indeed right my wrong.

So at this point even if I have to truly admit to something my brain really didn't go for, I will just to get it over with.

IT WAS CLEARLY NOT LISTED AS A WM9 in the sale you bought it from.

    And!

Quit PMing me. I want you to just go away. Man up, go away and sell your watches to the lots of people you know.
