really way over exaggerated this m8, you are new in the game, this is not appreciated...if you do some reading you just had to send FL a message that you thought he was a bit overpriced in your opinion...
Bad experience??? , if it is too expensive for you move on to another dealer. Do you do the same with every store you visit for groceries...complaining that they are overpriced? what a laugh...

Im not in the habit of over exaggerating. This was a simple deal. These were simple black Gucci sandals. They retail for $250 direct from Gucci. The cost quoted was $198+ $132 in shipping. Only a ****ing idiot would pay over retail for a rep. As for the seller and his offer of a second chance. Sorry fella, I’m not interested. Anyone could check the retail cost and determine the sale was a non starter.

Well, there you go. Give @Finer_Labels a second chance. But @techindahaus, you did not provide any helpful context to the situation so anyone reading it would go "huh?" What shoe was it? What was the quote compared to gen? What was the trans shipping cost? Anyway, situation contained.

Oh. Ok. So as a “newbie” your just supposed to accept getting screwed and paying over retail? Let’s stick with the facts of the deal. I was given a deal no one would accept and made zero sense to accept. But I’m getting slammed for bringing up and stating the obvious because this is a TD here?

Your main issue is choice of shoes and shipping method. Reps aren’t priced like gens at all. A $1500 tag heuer rep can cost the same as a $8000 Rolex rep. They can use the same movements in both so it’s economy of scale. Parts don’t get cheaper based on rep brand they’re often times made from the same parts factories. Shoes would be no different and probably depends on how many were made and what kind of deal he maker gets from each supplier. Rather than complain about a rep not being cheap enough find another dealer because more often than not it’s not the dealer it’s that particular item from that particular maker.

If I had to guess the cheaper version will be exactly that, a cheaper rep. That said you decide your comfort level with regards to price diffeeential gen vs rep so if you don’t like the deal walk away don’t complain about the TD.

My main issue is that the seller was selling an item I could buy gen for less. That’s it.
