I'm grooving on that Mille also. Very nice timepiece and way up there on the cool factor.

I'm not a fan of these PVD watches because of chippage issues. But the DLC let's you be normal with the watch. If you're the type who treats their stuff delicately, you should be fine.

Thank the Good Lord you're back here making things interesting. So jealous of that trip of yours. Think I'll have to take the wife clubbing again - haven't gone since the last Benassi adventures. Socal types, we should all rave the night away one of these days. Between LA and SD, we have so many opportunities. Unfortunately, Nocturnal '08 had a lackluster DJ list this year. None of the top 5; I don't get it. Last year was insane. Benassi, Ramirez, Paul VD, Mark Knight, Christopher Lawrence, Chemical Brothers. Magical.

So much to comment on, but because I'm biting my nails over my own 401 debacle, too much work to do first. Note... we can't expect McCain to torpedo his own party's integrity by announcing that fundamentals are fundamentally in shambles. That would only fuel the campaign of the opposition party, and would trigger a downward lemming index on Wall Street. Hell, if Alan Greenspan would carry a briefcase to work, people used to sell like crazy, expecting the Fed to raise rates. People were actually hired to identify indicators based on Greenspan's gestures, accessories, etc. Too much psychology and not enough economic science making things work. Buy all the gold reps you can, everyone! Not surprisingly, that's where the money is all going now. Very unwise of the Bostonians to rebel against the Brits. We could have the metric system, accents that make us sound intelligent, and the Pound Sterling.

But seriously, it's such a fine line, this concept of civilization. In a split second it can collapse like a house of cards. Unsettling.

Been really eying that Miglia Speed Black, but what most concerns me is the scratchability of the rep. True giveaway, considering the nearly bullet proof coating of the gen. Looking forward to PDA's side by side review with his grey dial - my current podium pick. Will be interesting to see which catches the fancy more...

And this Lehman thing is BRUTAL. You can bet that all the executives of both companies won't feel a bit of this shockwave in their own pockets; which I find a little disturbing. They made their money and probably very safe from too much fallout. People are literally playing with people's money AND their FUTURES. Wanda Sykes told a hilarious joke about this similar situation a few years ago, in regards to Enron. She said when you get mugged you loose what you have on you THAT DAY but she hasn't ever been robbed of her future! That's pretty f*cked up! LOL
