They do ( children, not dogs ) serve as one crucial trump card to women in the sense that they can make a man her slave for life financially and that is a very top quality card.

Children remind me of lethal midget spies and I loathe their screechy voices but enough about that. I am rivetted to know, though, which war Monsieur Caravaggio stopped today.

What to say about Andy ? I guess the visually apparent as few, none really, got beyond the surface.

He was in his sunglasses phase then ( 1968 ) and his silver hair looked real to me, a dyed-in-the-wool hair conoisseur.
He was wearing a gorgeous shocking lime green split cowhide suit all of it cut in the style of jeans and a jeans jacket. Black tutleneck. Boots. He was with Viva ( she was a terrific and really good tempered ditz bag ) and Paul Morrisey.

I met him in an elevator and he invited me to dinner, drinks afterward at a friend's.
We spent the evening together ( no, not the night, lol ).
He said " Come to New York. I'll make a movie around you " which I though was total bull****, who knows? But he did give me his home phone number, and the Factory's and wrote a few illegible words. I still have it. And a B&W photo of us all together seated at the table.

Funny enough, I did move to New York then and also funny, I left the day he was shot.

He had pits all over his nose and that bothered me.
I thought, " These people are all on heroin. They will eat me alive."

Children are more, way more than dogs....are you for real? Is this really the real you writing this? I dont know you sir but I know this: my children (not dogs) give me unparalled joy when I see them graduate high school or I read my daughter's funny stories she writes or the pride I felt when I taught my son how to ride his two wheeler, or the deep sadness mixed with pride (I am sure) when I give away my three daughters at their weddings.

You sir, made no sense whatsoever when you compared an animal with a human being....if you are as smart as you'd like me to believe you are, you wouldn't mix apples with oranges....

So, you want to work the poor clever people to death in your cancer-curing mines?

Art advances us as a species. Art stops wars. Art eases suffering.

Get off this forum, go to University, get a PhD in cancer-curing and put your money where your mouth is.
Right! A society without art is doomed to failure, in my opinion. William Golding's Lord of the Flies actually portrays this. The book itself has been taken out of junior high approved English curriculum because of the complex themes and allegory within it had more subtext than at first realized and is now considered too adult for children. The very first character to die in the book represents art in the children's makeshift society; art is very first thing to be censored and restricted in a totalitarian society. Just look at early 20th century Russia, Cambodia, etc.

Reread the book, y'all, whenever you get a chance. It's DEEP.

I'm glad you encourage your daughter's writing, that's for sure. Thank you for that. My parents would read my "novels" when I was a little girl, too. Now that I look back on it, I wonder how they could have enjoyed them every single time. I was writing about adult themes like a woman marrying a man and him turning out to be a abusive and tried to kill her. She fights back and survives, of course.

I was surprised such an outlandish, unrealistic idea actually became the RI-****-CULOUS movie Enough starring Jennifer Lopez. I was so like, "I can't believe that idea I came up with in the THIRD GRADE became major motion picture."

And calm down! Norman wasn't talking specifically about YOUR kids. he was mentioning his distate for kids in general. And he has the right to dislike any and ALL kids, including yours.

    Pure drivel.

I have not compared children to pets. If I had, children would come up with the short end of the stick.

Frankly, in an over populated world of disappearing resources I think it's selfishly moronic ( we're all entitled to our opinions and you started personal attacks ) to insist on a copy or semi-copy of one's own pathetic self.

If we need to propigate the species, children should be raised like cattle in marvelous open air pens ( nothing like good fresh air for optimum health ) then culled for the superior examples.
The rest could be sold for delicious high quality steak.

Furthermore, insane pets can be disposed of handily.
Insane children, of which there are many, can not.

    OK

considering the stuff you`re writing and your tone....you`re not taking this seriously and you talk nonsense.

    So, I`m done with this.

    Have a good life.

By the way, you say `pathetic` self....please speak of yourself...

I am not pathetic and I know it.

I still want to know why you took all that time and money to study art in college and now despise art so much. Why? You still haven't answered.
