Default why is image limited to 25 per post?

i was editing one of my post which had more than 30 pictures...but ended up erasing 5 of them since there was this 25 image limitation per post rule....

    why is this limitation necessary?

Forum default is set to 25 pics per post. We can increae it if you want to post more photos. We did not see the need to increase them unles someone asked for it.

My 7750 datewheel change was spread over three posts as it had 75 photos in it. Still, I'm not sure if we need to increase the limit as it's an unusual post that has more than 25 posts.

But the more I think about it, the less I see the need for a limit. Maybe the limit could be removed for VIP users.

I have changed it to 40. This will hopefully be enough for Jiro purposes but if anyone needs more let me know.

40 pic post is HUGE. Probably best to spread it out over 2+ threads or more if you are much over that as Pug-lopedia did.

I sometimes use wireless and its s l o w to just open a regular sized eye candy threads

I dont believe anyone will post threads that long but they will have the leeway if they do. It does take longer to load with more images in each post hence why not making it unlimited.
