Default PAM Exhibition Case and Waterproofing

    Two questions,

I sent a PM to Tanfo (who has the largest collection of watches I have ever seen) but no response. Does anyone know if you can get those killer clear display/exhibition cases that show off your PAM watch like he has in the pictures (or do these come from GEN PAM dealers?)

Also, I bought a very nice PAM 250 with real Swiss 7753 from Andrew and was wondering about Waterproofing. Do I just take this to any watch specialist (Sears, etc), or do I send it away to be done, or what? I would also like to waterproof my Rolex Sub.

    Any help is highly appreciated.

Hi bd, your first RG post - Welcome to the forum.

Tanfog - english is not his native language, so he sometimes does not fully understand the question. You can locate those pamerai display stands on the Bay or with some luck, a Internet search.

Regarding taking your watch to get serviced, your best bet is a local watch-smith type of repair shop where its done 'in house' Sears sends their watches to a larger repairs house and some places will give you a real hard time if it's a rep. Waterproofing is iffy - its not guaranteed since the quality of reps does not compare to gen's.

Screw down the crown tight, make sure your gasket is a good seal, tighten the case back and you'll be fine for light water type of wear.

    Cheers and enjoy the fourm

Ok, so let me introduce myself. I live in Southern California, and have always been a watch guy, but no where near the caliber of the folks on this forum. I own a couple of Gen Tag's and Movados and now own a nice set of Rolex and PAM reps. I might get into a Breit or FM rep next.
