Default sub no date vintage & modern HELP!!!

Hi , this is my first post here so forgive my ignorance ! I am looking fora sub no date model. Asian movement is fine. Lume is important(but not a deal breaker).
Heres where is I get confused:
I really prefer the no crown guard model.
!. I like the military style with sword hands
    2. I like the Bond style
    3. I like the 369 dial
If I can only find the modern version then I would like one that has really good lume .
Obviously the more correct the better in all cases. Can any one help me ? Please feel free to PM me !!
    thanks a ton !
    Don

I would start with silix. Jay has the no crown guard subs with all sorts of dial configurations. He also has the 5513 sub with crown guards and 3-6-9 (explorer) dial.
The military style (5517) is available from most of the dealers. But it is only available with crown guards.
The only modern version is going to be the 16610 sub...all the dealers carry it.

    Good luck with your search!

    Hi Don,

Welcome to RepGeek! I'm glad to see your first post. A good place to start is in one of the dealers webpages or photo buckets. Take a look in their Rolex folders and see if you find one that catches your eye. There is a good line of 'Bond vintage' pieces as well as some other choices too.

The lume is a tough find as rep's from the factory have poor, if any, lume. After the watch arrives and if its still important to you you could send it to one of the forum Modders for some Torching.

Enjoy the forum and feel free to post any questions you may have, thats why we're here!

    Cheers
