    Default Howdy from Nashville

I'm relatively new to the rep scene, and watches in general. I was never really into watches but came across one at a sort of salvage yard/pawn shop place that caught my eye, a Panerai Luminor GMT. I'd never seen anything like it and the ALL SALES FINAL label on it made me a bit curious so I checked ebay and saw they sold for thousands of dollars and figured I'd stumbled upon one, completely ignorant of the replica thing.... I paid $50 for it and loved it, even after showing it to a jeweler friend who told me the bad news about it.

From there I got the bug - and started being aware of watches that I'd been oblivious to before.

Since then I've gotten a couple Bell&Ross reps, an Omega, and two weeks ago a Rado Sintra.

I made an order for a bunch more this week, am anxiously awaiting them. A Rolex, another B&R, a Glashutte, and some Grahams.

My gen watch collection is fairly large, my prizes being a Festina, some really nice Invicta's and Fossils, and a 1930's russian watch that I adore. Pic's to come someday.

Welcome good friend. There are geeks not to far from you down in Memphis. Great place to learn about watches and make some good friends. If you have not been down to Kings Jewelers down near Trader Joes check them out great place to try on some killer GENS for homework.

I've been meaning to go to King's but don't know if I could walk out without breaking the bank.... too many brands I lust for.

Brentwood Jewelry has a Krytonite I am seriously thinking about, but it's about half a month's salary....

oh man, went to King's today after work....

I got a Bell&Ross rep from WatchEden of the BR02-94 and love it so much thought I'd check and see if they had one and maybe see about financing it. They didn't have the one I wanted in stock luckilly..... but did show me a gen BR02 and I am amazed at the quality of this rep I got now. I think I might have them order a gen nylon strap for it though, that I might be able to afford...

very nice store and I got treated great. Thanks for the reccomendation of going there.

    Welcome aboard, norm!

You'll soon realize you should stick with Panerai, brother. There's nothing that beats the feeling of a Panerai watch.

Am bidding on a new caseback for my rep Panerai on ebay, the crystal is broken and it fogs up when I wear it.

Oh god but do I want a real B&R now though.... one day it will be mine.

Yep, busily doing what I can to help fund the terrorists tonight... just bought two more B&R's, a Uboat, some straps, and have made offers on a bunch more stuff. Looks like about ten watches in the past week, including genuine Rado and Zenith's, though not valuable ones.

My collection - A little of this, a little of that.... always looking to get some more of that as I have too much of this already.
