Hello from the Windy City
Okay, so in an attempt to remove the you have never posted here message I see everyday logging in, I will post a little something here to introduce myself.
Name is Dave and I pay a mortgage in Chicago, but practically live on a airplane. I work for an international software company which treats me very well and allows me to dabble in this hobby.
To get started I have done a good amount of reading and thank all those who have put so much time an effort into the forums and provide such a great base of information for noobs new to the hobby. Also greatly appreciate the trusted collector info and references, I have already had great interactions with Andrew, Josh, and Nikki.
I have on order with PTW a Breitling SA that I just received the tracking info for today, so for all the worries about Angus and his crew, they are working and have been very timely with information so far, looking forward to the watch coming in.
Second watch coming in is from Andrew who was beyond helpful and unbelievable in his more than timely response to my questions. This watch is a Tag Carrera and I am very excited this one should be on its way too.
The last watch I have gone after will probably be the first here and that is a nice Breitling SA as well from fellow board member bluejay68 who was outstanding to deal with and gave me a quick solution to scratch my itch. That watch should be here this week.
So RG, thanks for being such an opening community, looking forward to putting my other hobby's fruits (Poker) to good use.
