That would be us jews. Though honestly it is only supposed to be the Hebrew name...The true name...of god that deserves that respect. Too many of us either do not know our own religion or become over zealous in it.

I knew about this, but I thought it applied only to the name (or names) of God.. none of which are "God".

I think the very reference - even by proxy - to the name is a matter of controversy. However, most believe it applies to proxy names in other languages.
